OUR STORY
The company was born in the late 1970s thanks to the insight of the Friulian entrepreneur Giannino Lucchese, who founded it in one of the most important furniture districts in Italy. High quality and durability immediately became the hallmarks of this project.
In the 1990s, his sons Carlo Tomaso and Fabio, taking up the legacy of their father, began to design and make – at their own factory – contemporary sofas and armchairs, which stand out for their tailoring, attention to detail and innovative design.
The production of sofas was soon accompanied by upholstered beds, allowing living areas and bedrooms to be furnished in consistent styles and materials.
Most of the processes are carried out in-company: this allows constant control of the quality of the raw materials used, the production process and finishes, as well as the creation of customised elements.
Flexteam is a dynamic company, where the passion of people leads to the continuous development of new collections designed to provide moments of relaxation with a product that is, and will continue to be, a symbol of Made in Italy excellence.

SUSTAINABILITY
For Flexteam, sustainability is a value that primarily involves the use of high-quality raw materials of guaranteed origin. The down used for padding and the leather for upholstery are waste products from the food industry, whereas the expanded polyurethane we use complies with the OEKO-TEX Standard 100, which prohibits the use of harmful chemicals in the production process.
Raw materials come from local suppliers and are processed in the Flexteam laboratory in Prata di Pordenone: our production is almost “zero kilometre”, as it does not involve long-distance and polluting shipments.
Sofas, armchairs, poufs and upholstered beds are made individually, with the due care required for a handmade product destined to be long-lasting:
this advantage results in economic savings and real sustainability, since the product is
intended to last for many years.
